Event Reviews

We took our 2 year old expecting lots of singing along and dancing and colourful characters after reading the description. Instead we endured 60 minutes trying to entertain our 2 year old who, apart from joining in with the very few and far between songs, had nothing to entertain her apart from the seat popping up and down! The 'story' was hard going even for us adults (something to do with the premise of two alien creatures needing their spaceship refulled by telling the story of the old lady who swallowed a fly...or something like that, it was very hard to follow!) Our little girl stood no chance of understanding it if we struggled and needed a lot more interaction, chances to get up and sing and dance long and generally a much more simplistic aprroach mainly based around songs and actions with some simple colourful characters, not a man dressed up as an old lady doing some slapstick acting and a fuzzy alien that spoke another language! Luckily we bought our tickets in the January sale or we would have wasted even more money. I would avoid this at all costs but especially with little ones, it's probably more suitable for 4+ years than the 2+ it's marketed as. Disappointed!

Took my 4 year old son to watch this show today and unfortunately he found it very “boring”. The sing along nursery rhymes engaged most of the children and adults but the space characters telling the tale were a little odd!
