Get ready for a three-week theatre experience like no other!
Work with West End professionals Andy Reiss and Katie Leeming as you create, rehearse, and perform a full-scale musical from start to finish in three weeks.
You’ll be part of an incredible cast, work with professional creative and technical teams, perform with a live band, and take to the stage of our prestigious Festival Theatre.
Whether you dream of performing, directing, or working behind the scenes, this is your chance to see what life in professional theatre is really like and to make amazing friends along the way!
Andy Reiss and Katie Leeming are the creative duo behind Beyond the Barricade, the UK’s longest-running musical theatre concert tour, now celebrating its 26th year.
Applications are open to all ages from 12 – 26 years to audition.
Due to the intensive rehearsal process, participants must be available for all of the dates below.
Dates of the project:
Vocal Call: Sunday 21st June 2026
Rehearsals – Monday 3rd August – Monday 17th August 2026
Performances – Tuesday 18th August – Saturday 22nd August 2026
7 performances – Festival Theatre
Eves at 7 pm, Thursday & Saturday Matinee at 2 pm
Rehearsals run Monday – Saturday, 10am -6pm* (TBC)
Project Participant Cost = £240
(Payable in instalments through a payment plan)
