Rohmer’s most perfect film?  Louise and her architect fiancé Rémi live in the new town he is designing.  She is stifled in the suburbs and retains her pied à terre in Paris.  One night, unable to sleep because of the full moon, she goes to a café and meets an artist who is also unable to sleep, sharing that she doesn’t feel like she has a home anywhere.
