In the stunning scenery of the lac d’Annecy, career diplomat Jérôme (Jean-Claude Brialy) is enjoying a holiday away from his fiancee.  He dares to flirt with two teenage girls. Laura (Béatrice Romand) and her older step-sister, Claire (Laurence de Monaghan), and experiences complex and confusing feelings when he notices her perfect knee.
