March 6 - March 7

Disowned at birth by his wealthy family, Becket Redfellow will stop at nothing to reclaim his inheritance, no matter how many relatives stand in his way.

Sound familiar? This black comedy is loosely based on Robert Hamer’s 1949 Kind Hearts and Coronets in which Alec Guinness plays all eight of the hero’s aristocratic relatives. Estranged from the Redfellows, blue collar Becket believes he is the rightful heir to their obscenely massive fortune. Charmingly ruthless, he hatches a plan to eliminate all seven of his family members. Shot in Cape Town, with a stellar ensemble cast, the film promises wicked inventive fun and timely social satire in an age of class warfare and dynastic greed.
