Drenched in Pedro Almodóvar‘s signature bright colours, Bitter Christmas is an intriguing, multilayered story about a director who borrows details from his loved ones’ lives to flesh out his screenplay – much to their dismay.
Renowned auteur director Almodóvar returns with his magnificent, metafictional melodrama, grappling with love, loss and artistic freedom.
