AN EVENING SHOWCASING STANISLAVSKI’S ACTIVE ANALYSIS TECHNIQUE

You’re invited to see Stanislavski’s Active Analysis process live in the Beyond Words Showcase. Our actors will have been immersed for two days nurturing their craft, and on this unique evening they’ll share the process using scripts they have never seen before! A truly enriching evening and a unique opportunity to see actors at work.

Stanislavski once said, We can read the play today and perform it tomorrow.

We set out to explore that.

Beyond Words is a two day acting intensive designed for the working professional actor. Founded by teaching artist Jason Wilson in 2019, Beyond Words focuses on Konstantin Stanislavski’s innovative and rereshing Active Analysis Technique, and includes a progressive Voice and Movement program. For our inaugural visit to the historic Malvern Theatres, we’re excited to announce that Cotter Smith (ART, Mindhunter, X-Men) will be flying in from the US to facilitate the Active Analysis portion. This is a tremendous opportunity for actors to broaden their toolbox and to spend two days immersed with like-minded artistic souls.
