Artists go Digital
With Rebecca Farkas
Join artist Rebecca Farkas for a practical discussion about taking analogue artwork into the digital sphere. Rebecca will introduce her work and the methods she uses and share examples of how other visual artists create digital work that is shared on screens. It’s a chance for artists to learn more about the process of creating digital art, with practical examples to try later.
Rebecca Farkas creates animations, videos, photographs, drawings and installations that create a sense of wonder. Her work responds to places, people, stories and memories; recent work explores the Memento Mori/Vanitas art tradition, in ‘still life’ animations about objects and memory. As well as being exhibited in multiple venues, her work has been commissioned by Meadow Arts, National Trust, Rural Media and Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum. In 2022, she was awarded Developing Your Creative Practice funding by Arts Council England.
This workshop is hosted in partnership with Severn Arts and Malvern Hills District Council.
