Amashinga explains why the famous battles at Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift came about in Zululand in 1879.

It uses both Zulu and British voices who only say things which were said at the time.

It is a beautifully made film and studies issues surrounding colonisation and what happens when a war is waged based on a false intelligence premise. It is a very modern story.
