At Malvern Theatres, we offer several British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted performances throughout the year, which feature a professional interpreter who translates spoken English into British Sign Language.
Our interpreter is typically situated on the right hand side of the stage, though we advise checking the information listed for each performance individually as this can sometimes vary. Performances where our interpreter is positioned differently will be marked with an asterisk * on the above list.
For the best view of the interpreter when in this position, please choose low numbered seats towards the front right-hand side of the Stalls, as you face the stage. Please see our seating guide below to help you. Due to the positioning of the interpreter, we would advise against booking seats in the Circle, in the front two rows of the Stalls or in high numbered seats in the Stalls.
A small number of our staff working on the Box Office and Front of House have a basic level of d/Deaf Awareness & BSL training and will do their very best to help you.
